Peanut Butter Cookie RecipeIngredients
1/2 C granulated sugar
1/2 C packed brown sugar
1/2 C peanut butter
1/4 C shortening
1/4 C margarine or butter, softened
1 1/4 C all purpose flour
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1. Mix sugars, peanut butter, shortening, margarine, and egg until well blended.
2. Stir in remaining ingredients
Optional: Cover and refrigerate 1-3 hours (my Mom prefers to make her's this way)
3. Shape dough into balls and flatten in a crisscross patter with fork dipped in flour
4. Bake at 375 for 9-10 minutes.
